When it comes to eating, we’re all the same
Eat together, it’s a human thing!
One of the most meaningful things that human beings can do is sit down together and
share in a meal. In our fast-food, drive-through, meal-delivery-app society, the mere act of
taking time to pull your chair up for a meal with someone else communicates
openness to at least a little bit of vulnerability. It’s simply the willingness to participate with another human being.
When it comes to eating, we’re all the same.
Bless others with your time, money, and efforts!
Would you consider harnessing the chance to join with other people right here in Lawrence to serve lunch?
You might find yourself sharing a table with someone you’ve never met before—and better yet, feel what it’s like to be your best self.
Thank you for your help in building a better community!
The gifts of time and attention are far more valuable to their recipients
than the cost to the giver.
There are several ways to help
- Donate time – serve meals, help with cleanup
- Donate money – our bills need to be met in order to stay open
- Donate your special skills
Learn to shift your perspective to that of the person who comes to have a meal at LINK, and embrace the value of doing for one, or for a few, what we wish we could do for all. YOU make the difference people’s lives. At LINK this difference is genuinely appreciated and is truly meaningful.
